SHEL currently holds approvals to deliver the Association of Business Executives range of diploma qualifications; a suite of BA, BSc and MSc programmes from Heriot Watt University’s School of Built Environment (SBE), School of Management and Languages (SML) and School of Life Sciences (SLS); and the Australian Institute of Business, delivering a number of BBA and MBA programmes.

SHEL is a registered tertiary level institution in Trinidad and Tobago. We are registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago, the Ministry of Science Technology and Tertiary Education and have Government Assistance for tuition expenses (GATE) approval for our Heriot-watt University SML, Australian Institute of Business and Association of Executives range of programmes.
SHEL delivers AIB’s MBA and BBA at two locations: in San Fernando (South Trinidad) at Rushworth street and in Petit Bourg, San Juan (North Trinidad).
The school’s facilities (three campuses) consist of a total of 25 classrooms, three computer laboratories, two sick bays, three student common rooms and administrative offices.
Students at SHEL have access to study areas anytime during normal opening hours. Also at students’ disposal are high speed internet, multimedia systems and a library stocked with books, journals, DVDs, slides and more.
SHEL provides its students with a range of support services, including counsellor support to ensure the student’s progress, supervision on assignments and projects by experienced academic advisors, etc. Shortly before commencing the course, students will be invited to join a Study Skills Seminar at SHEL.
As a student of SHEL, you will also be able to take advantage of the free access to an extensive online library facility as well as complimentary course materials for MBA and BBA subjects.
