The BA Accountancy programme offered by Heriot-Watt University provides a broad grounding in all key accountancy functions whilst also enabling students to broaden knowledge of other disciplines such as finance, marketing and management. Stage 1 entry:
GCE A-levels BB, CCD or equivalent
Students with prior qualifications may be eligible for course exemptions or direct entry and should ask their Approved Learning Partner for guidance. Mature applicants with relevant work experience are also considered on a case by case basis.
Entrants should also be competent in English language (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).
Stage 2 entry:
Successful completion of stage 1 HW degree. Or
Successful completion of level 5 ABE or other internationally recognized diploma.
Stage 3entry:
Successful completion of stage 2 HW degree. Or
Successful completion of ABE advanced level – level 6 Or other internationally recognized advanced diploma.
