Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting the leadership of the Warehouse by supporting the logistics, upholding the safety standards and ensuring compliance in the completion of Warehousing tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Supports warehousing and distribution operations including receival of goods, coordinating deliveries and dispatching of trucks

• Ensure compliance with operational and personnel policies & procedures.

• Monitors and maintain security procedures and protocols, ensuring that all processes are adhered to.

• Supervises and train the warehouse staff in warehouse operations processes

• Imparts knowledge and assist with development, training and mentoring of staff 

• Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly warehouse reports

• Support the weekly stock reconciliation and annual stock taking exercises

• Facilitates the receival and reconciliation of purchases and deliveries

• Assist with the scheduling of staff and other key items
