The incumbent is required to ensure that all Inventory at all locations are 100% accurate at all times. To monitor & report on close to expiry items, variances, damages, & disposals. He/she will coordinate & execute fully, the Monthly Stock Counts including both physical & system.

Position:			Inventory Supervisor

Reporting Relationship: Inventory Manager

Summary: The Inventory Supervisor is required to assist the Inventory Manager to ensure that all Inventory at all locations are 100% accurate at all times. To monitor and report on close to expiry items, variances, damages, & disposals. Also to coordinate and execute fully, the Monthly Stock Counts including both physical & system.

Duties and Responsibilities

 To supervise & validate cycle counts daily to ensure accuracy
 To enter stock counts on GP, generate recounts and provide a final stock variance
 Accountable for monthly stock counts assigned to warehouse attendants and taking necessary actions with count leads for any discrepancies.
 Ensuring data entry of stock counts and 100% expiry dates are accurately entered on the system through review and spot checks.
 To investigate and report on variances exceeding 10K
 To assist in preparing Inventory Risk reports to assess close to expiry products
 To assist in coordinating Disposals with all stakeholders
 To prepare stock count & disposal memos for pre-approval by the Inventory Manager
 To supervise the physical disposals and ensure all procedures are adhered to.
 To enter disposals on Dynamics GP for approval by Inventory Manager
 To manage and report on Non-Conforming Warehouse and pending disposal listing
 To assist by suggesting improvements to the inventory and inventory control procedures and items that affect accuracy and reliability, and ensuring these procedures are maintained and enforced.
 Meeting assigned KPI’s for Inventory accuracy. All items with variance over $10000 must be explained in writing and resolved with the Inventory Manager
 Ensuring that expired stock is segregated and disposed quickly so that it does not affect the ordering process or compromise quality
 To participate in warehouse projects such as WMS implementation and maintenance
 Performs other related duties, as required.


Key Objectives

1. Net Variance in area assigned has less than $5,000 TTD in net variance
2. FEFO issue of goods is maintained 100% through review and validation
3. Expired per month is less than $5000 per month in any area and must be reported prior to expiry.
4. Disposals are done each month valued at least $10000TTD until no warehouse expiry.
5. To close off monthly stock counts and variance report by 3rd day of the new month
6. Stock Obsolescence and variance targets must be met as outlined by Inventory Manager
7. To adhere to and follow all established quality and safety procedures within the Warehouse.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

• Three (3) A Levels or Tertiary Diploma
• Degree in Business Management or other appropriate degree are an asset
• A minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience in a medium sized retail company or experience in warehouse management, inventory management or any aspect of supply chain management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advance Excel Level
• Experience with MS Great Plains or similar technologies.
• Certificate of Good Character
