JOB SUMMARY The Senior Officer Administrator will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and coordination support to senior executives, focusing on office operations, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

Senior Office Administrator

(1-Year Contract)

Location: Chaguaramas

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A first degree in Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior administrative role; inclusive of supervisory experience
  • Proven work experience as a senior administrator or executive administrative assistant
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • A practical and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively
  • Personal values that align with the organization’s vision and culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily clerical and administrative support to senior executives
  • Plan and document meetings, including taking detailed minutes
  • Manage executive schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Draft and manage correspondence, including letters and reports
  • Develop and maintain filing systems and databases
  • Greet and assist visitors while providing general office support
  • Oversee and improve office policies, procedures, and systems
  • Address and resolve complex inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Supervise and assign tasks to the office receptionist
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and functional office environment in collaboration with relevant personnel
  • Coordinate work order requests and liaise with contractors as needed
