The Opportunity- Spa Therapist

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, skilled and highly motivated individual join our Serenity Spa Team. The Spa Therapist works closely with the Spa Concierge and additionally reports to the Spa Supervisor & Spa Manager. The key role of a Spa Therapist is to deliver professional, therapeutic, and rejuvenating massage therapies, body treatments, skincare, and nail care to the spa guests. 

Applications open to Barbadian nationals or persons with permission to reside and work in Barbados.

Summary of Main Duties:

• Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments and other aesthetic services.
• Conduct client consultations to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide personalized and professional spa experiences, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about current spa trends, products, and techniques.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with industry regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, promoting repeat business and client loyalty.
• Collaborate with the spa team to ensure a seamless and harmonious guest experience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least two-years experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equal to a GED.
• Certification in Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, Nail Care and/or Skin Care.
• Outstanding interpersonal, guest service, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Valid CPR, First Aid, Health & Safety Certification would be an asset.
