Role overview:
Our Client is seeking a Senior Analyst, People Change Management to lead and support people change management initiatives for significant transformation projects. The role involves providing guidance on change management methodology and assisting stakeholders as they transition through change. The objective is to foster acceptance, usage, and adoption of new solutions to achieve project success.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement change management strategies for major projects in collaboration with leadership. This includes stakeholder analysis, defining change goals, and assessing impacts on affected groups to ensure smooth implementation within budgets and timelines.
- Partner with project stakeholders to assess the people-related impacts of change initiatives, such as new technologies, processes, and structures.
- Aim to understand and address the expectations and concerns of each stakeholder group to promote optimal adoption and realisation of project benefits.
- Conduct individual and group support sessions to address resistance to change.
- Develop solutions to potential blockers to facilitate smoother transitions and meet strategic objectives.
- Work with change partners, project managers, and business sponsors to establish roles, responsibilities, and maintain communication to enhance alignment and mitigate change fatigue.
- Create and implement targeted training and coaching materials to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required for successful adoption.
- Occasionally facilitate training in collaboration with the talent development team.
- Ensure new processes and technologies are presented consistently across various media channels, collaborating with Communications to clarify impacts on roles, policies, and business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies and tools to improve change management quality and effectiveness.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate in People Change Management from PROSCI or another recognised change management body.
- Undergraduate degree or higher-education diploma in human resource management or other suitable discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking or financial services with relevant experience in people change management
- Experience facilitating design sessions (remote and in-person) with proficiency in collaborative tools & techniques (e.g. design thinking, Miro, Mural, SharePoint, Teams)
- Prior experience leading organisational change management
- Proven track record of engaging with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
