Products Manager

The Manager is responsible for the strategic management of all trimmings and accessories utilized in garment production. This role involves coordinating with the distribution team to ensure that all trimmings meet design specifications and production requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Supplier Management

• Procure trimmings items based on demand
• Generate purchase orders and communicate with suppliers
• Liase on with the shipping department to coordinate the shipping and receive of trimmings, permits, etc.
• Coordinate special orders for wholesale customers

Inventory Management

• Reconcile invoices against ordered stock and prices
• Make adjustments, corrections or modifications to the trimmings codes in the DATAENTRY system
• Make decisions and record items sent to PFL and Dumped
• Coordinate cyclical stock counts
• Enter the stock counts to the system and calculate variances
• Create new codes for trimmings in the POS systems
• Generate price for newly received retail and wholesale items; create new items listings and post it to the FORUM
• Coordinate physical counts of the trimmings stock
• Assess aging items and generate new sales strategy for these items
• Ensure bi-annual training for trimmings staff is completed
• Generate weekly trimmings reports for stock status and by bin to identify issues affecting data integrity.
• Make corrections to codes wrongly created and items located in wrong bins.
• Generate negative balance report for trimmings and enquiry to make corrections.
• Record and analyze purchases vs. sales
• Generate annual budget for trimmings
• Manage the trimmings staff

Other duties

• Provide guidance for improvement of the trimmings sales
• Communicate with Store Managers and trimmings personnel regarding all related to trimmings
• Perform any other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
