Caribbean Airlines is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:

MARKETING COUNTRY LIASION - GUYANA

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Country Liaison – Guyana reports to the Country Manager – Guyana & Suriname, with a dotted line to the Marketing Manager.  He/She is responsible for advertising and sponsorship activities in Guyana, and represents the airline’s brand appropriately and attractively to prospective and existing customers, in accordance with Corporate brand objectives and guidelines.

 

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  1. Marketing Support:  Provides marketing support to the Marketing Manager by assisting them in achieving their targets with the various marketing strategies or promotional activities through prompt responses to correspondence and queries, timely supply of collateral material and coordinating with stakeholders in country.
  2. Business Development: Researches and identifies opportunities to build beneficial relationships and stakeholders in country to extend the airline’s market share in the territory. Also, the incumbent tracks and monitors the competitive environment and develops creative positioning, pitch strategies and presentation materials for this market.
  3. Advertising: Coordinates and monitors all advertising material related to, among other things, external billboards, mass media placement, and collateral material within the territory.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Develops working relationships with regional stakeholders, suppliers and partners and highlights opportunities or threats and recommendations as appropriate

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Advertising or related field, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience, three (3) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, sound knowledge of economic and marketing conditions in Guyana and excellent working knowledge of the airline’s products and services. You must also have advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
