Title: Brand Manager

Location: Giftland Group, Giftland Mall – Guyana

Reports To: Marketing & Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Brand Manager leads our brand development initiatives. The incumbent must have a strong background in brand management, a passion for technology and industry, with the ability to drive brand awareness and loyalty. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand's presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Development:
    • Create and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with company goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Marketing Campaigns:
    • Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Product Development:
    • Work closely with product development teams to align product features with brand positioning.
    • Lead product launches, ensuring effective promotion and messaging.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor brand performance metrics and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on brand performance and market insights.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Develop programs to enhance customer loyalty and engagement.
    • Gather customer feedback to inform brand strategy and product improvements.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Evaluate ROI on marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.

Reporting Responsibilities:  Reports to Marketing & Sales Executive  

Supervisory Responsibilities: Product specialists, Supervisors, Team leaders and CSRs.

Job Requirements/Specifications

Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably in the electronics or consumer technology sectors.

Proven track record of successfully managing and growing brands.

Essential Skills: Computer Literate (Microsoft: Word, Excel), Report Writing.

Other Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Job Conditions

Will be spending 60% of time in Giftland. 40% of time on the trade.

 

Mental Requirements: High

Salary and Benefits

Salary and Benefits are based on Giftland existing salary scheme, and benefits are in accordance with the laws of Guyana and the policies of Giftland. These are all provided for in the Contract of employment.
