Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the scheduling and execution of domestic and international shipping operations.
- Handle all customs documentation and procedures for the clearing of shipments, ensuring
compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods and resolve any
issues that may arise during the process.
- Serve as a costing clerk by accurately calculating costs associated with logistics operations and
maintaining organized records.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and implement best
practices to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the organization’s inventory to ensure accurate and up-to-date stock levels.
- Conduct regular and comprehensive stock counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify
discrepancies.
- Work closely with the inventory team to coordinate activities related to stock management, spot
checks, loss prevention and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with company directors to provide updates on operations and ensure that
administrative support aligns with company goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least a tertiary-level qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply
Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of local and international customs regulations, would be an asset.
