Maintain all container/shipment updates/logs daily and real-time
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Effectively processes all documentation ensuring that customs, demurrage costs are kept
to a minimum at all times.
- Ensures accurate calculation of duties and taxes to be paid and may be required to sign
documents
- To track shipments and retrieve shipping documentations from various parties and ensure
documentations are in accordance with the Customs & Excise requirements prior to
shipment/s arrival
- Required to clear and deliver cargo from all ports of entry
- Must keep up-to-date with changes to be able to advise on import and export restrictions,
tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters
- Close all shipments and file all documents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess Customs Grade 2 License
- knowledge of the Asycuda, TTBiz Link & ACE System
- Must have at least two (2) years working experience in this field
- Working knowledge of Customs procedures and practices relative to processing Imports
and Exports
- Versed on Customs Rules and Regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
