HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

 Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews and assisting with candidate selection.
• Onboard new hires
• Support the performance management process 
• Identify employee training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance. 
• Maintain accurate employee records
• Ensure compliance with Jamaican Labour Laws and company policies across all HR functions

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as HR Officer
• Knowledge of HR functions 
• Extensive knowledge of the Jamaican Labor Laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Strong ethics and reliability
• BSc Human Resource Management 
• HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
