Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR principles, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR processes effectively. This role reports directly to the General Manager and will work closely with various departments to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a welcoming start for new employees.
Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, addressing concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, promoting a respectful and supportive workplace.
- Assist in implementing programs that promote employee engagement and positive work culture.
Benefits Administration
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave policies.
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve any benefit-related issues.
- Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and questions related to benefits.
Performance Management
- Support the performance review and goal-setting processes by providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Monitor and track performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
- Work with management to implement development plans for employees as needed.
Compliance and Recordkeeping
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, updating personnel files and HR systems as needed.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance reporting to ensure alignment with company policies and legal standards.
Training and Development
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinate training sessions to support employee growth and development.
- Partner with management to develop and deliver training on topics like performance management, communication, and team building.
HR Projects and Initiatives
- Participate in and support HR projects related to policy updates, employee engagement, and culture-building activities.
- Provide input on HR best practices and help identify opportunities to improve HR processes and policies.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Skills and Competencies:
-Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
