We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR Specialist to provide comprehensive support across all aspects of human resources. This remote, part-time role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in HR management, including policy development, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee and support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and databases.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support for employee relations, including addressing grievances and performance issues.
  • Conduct research and analysis on HR trends and best practices to improve processes and programs.
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with broad generalist experience.
  • Exceptional policy-writing skills and knowledge of Jamaican labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, with advanced MS Office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
