The HR Administrator will be responsible for managing the company's HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and maintaining employee records.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a strong ability to handle multiple tasks in a growing company. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong communication skills and an ability to manage a variety of HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hiring.
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, training, and integration into the company culture.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in managing employee grievances and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
    • Support employee engagement activities to enhance morale and retention.
  3. Compliance and Record-Keeping:
    • Ensure company compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Assist with statutory reporting and other HR compliance requirements.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate in-house training sessions.
    • Help track employee performance and development plans to align with company goals.
  5. General Administrative Support:
    • Maintain HR databases and generate reports as required.
    • Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
    • Assist in maintaining and improving HR processes and procedures.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
  • A Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR or HR administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of Jamaican labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
