About the Role
You will have the ability to positively impact the employee experience while building your competencies, skills and knowledge. Your main duties will include:
- Acting as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors which may include health, life and Individual Retirement plan providers
- Overseeing the leave management process
- Managing the employee end of shift transportation programme
- Inventory management & distribution for uniforms and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Creating and submitting employee salary adjustments for approval
- Managing the storage and accessibility of policies and procedures
- Supporting the employee separation process, discipline process
- Providing administrative support for welfare and wellness programmes
- Overseeing the maintenance of manual files to ensure compliance with data management principles
- Ensuring the integrity of information stored on the HRIS
- Completing administrative tasks associated with employees’ request
- Complete reports to aid in decision making and outcomes management

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or any equivalent
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role administrating employee benefits, welfare and discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of the Labour Laws of Jamaica and best practices
