Group Project Manager

The group project manager will handle full scale project management by overseeing a diverse team of in house construction/ maintenance crews along with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that project deadlines are met. Supplier pricing and negotiations of such areas are required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time, according to precise specifications 
with 100% accuracy
2. Manage all assigned projects by sending weekly updates to management team with 100% 
accuracy
3. Manage all suppliers, sub-contractors and in house project teams to ensure that prices, 
product availability and delivery are within budgets and timelines as required, with 100% 
accuracy
4. Outline all tasks involved in each project and delegate such tasks accordingly, within 
designated timelines with 100% accuracy
5. Conduct cost benefit analyses and prepare projections for all assigned projects, ensuring 
that the ‘three quote principle’ is adhered to with 100% accuracy
6. Analyse and cross reference all costings, invoices and sub-contractor services to ensure that 
all prices submitted are within budget and in line with materials/ items received within 
designated timelines and with 100% accuracy
7. Prepare status reports for the directors on a weekly or as needed basis with 100% accuracy
8. Prepares and implements project budgets for assigned projects or estimated annual projects 
9. Conduct risk assessments to mitigate all risks associated with assigned projects and provide 
recommendations for risk mitigation and cost control as reasonably practicable
10. Address all questions/ concerns during each project within designated timelines with 100% 
accuracy and act as liaison between the company and all related parties
11. Communicate with all required teams (marketing, HSE etc.) to ensure all projects are 
completed within designated timelines with 100% accuracy
12. Ensure compliance with all state, local, commercial or residential building codes and best 
practices
13. Source all required material, goods, furnishings, or any other required item for the 
conceptualization and delivery of each project within designated timelines with 100% 
accuracy
14. Manage all sub-contractors, ensuring that the required PPE standards are adhered to and 
contractor agreements signed within designated timelines with 100% accuracy
15. Meet with project teams or any involved team to discuss and find solutions to challenges
16. Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful/ unsuccessful project elements in 
efforts to mitigate/ continue such practices in future projects
17. Any other duty as required by the Group

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
❖ A Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in a related field
❖ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
❖ Proficient with AutoCAD software
❖ Proven experience with project management
❖ Ability to lead project teams of various sizes
❖ Deadline Driven and Detail oriented
