Project Background: Building on the infrastructure upgrades facilitated by the previously awarded "Monitors (Air, Water, and Electrical) and Business Management System Project," the University College of the Cayman Islands now seeks to further enhance its digital presence. This project aims to create a comprehensive website and digital library focused on biodiversity, sustainability, and innovation.

Project Objectives:

  • Information Hub: Establish a central platform for disseminating information related to biodiversity and sustainability.
  • Educational Resource: Provide a repository for educational materials, research findings, and sustainability plans.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate interaction and collaboration among researchers, students, and global partners involved in sustainability efforts.

Scope of Work:

  • Website Development: Design and develop a responsive, user-friendly website that integrates real-time data from the campus’s Building Management System (BMS), including interactive dashboards for energy and resource management.
  • Digital Library: Create a digital archive that includes multimedia content such as videos, photographs, and documents related to biodiversity and sustainability initiatives.
