Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will have primary responsibility for the report generation and data analysis functions of the IT department. Assist the Manager-IT and other departments with the development of strategies and plans to enhance reporting systems and internal databases.

The Caribbean Credit Card Corporation Limited (4Cs) is a technology and e-Payments processing company operating in the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis. The Corporation is a 24/7 operation with a team of approximately 70 employees, providing services across the Caribbean Region.

Reports to: Manager – Information Technology

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will have primary responsibility for the report generation and data analysis functions of the IT department. Assist the Manager-IT and other departments with the development of strategies and plans to enhance reporting systems and internal databases and provide staff and clients with access to data to support decision making. Assists with the modification of reports generated by the department and the provision of guidance when reports are being designed.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Design, build, test, implement reports and SQL scripts; builds, customizes and maintains reporting interfaces and schedulers.
• Investigate and resolve report generation or content issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that support decision making.
• Work collaboratively with various teams and technical resources to define the scope and details of each data project assignment; participates as a team member in design, review and planning meetings.
• Review application upgrade documentation to determine impacts on existing reports, and update reports / queries as needed.
• Plan, execute and implement reporting and database configuration changes to ensure optimal system availability and performance for all reporting systems.
• Prepare reporting systems, operations, and user documentation for new and changed report systems.
• Coordinate / conduct training on new reporting systems and procedures.
• Ensures data integrity and accuracy of the databases and reporting systems.
• Ensures all scheduled / requested reports generated and delivered with expected timelines.
• Any other duty as assigned.

Normal Hours of Work         

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.- Monday to Friday

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• 3-5 years information technology experience with a track record of success
• Experience with developing databases and extracting information from data sources using SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of querying and reporting from relational databases
• Experience with report writing software such as Crystal Report Writer and Power BI
• Certifications in database management and data analytics will be an asset.

Salary

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
