This is a full-time on-site Cost Clerk role located in Negril. The Cost Clerk will be responsible for managing financial records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.

This is a full-time on-site Cost Clerk role located in Negril. The Cost Clerk will be responsible for managing financial records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting.

  • Maintain accurate records of costs associated with materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports for management, highlighting variances and trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets based on historical cost data and projected expenses.
  • Monitor budget expenditures and compare them against forecasts to identify discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all cost-related documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain organized files for cost records, invoices, and related correspondence.
  • Work closely with different departments, such as production, finance, and procurement, to obtain accurate data and ensure alignment on cost management strategies.
  • Assist in training staff on cost control processes and best practices.
  • Use accounting software and spreadsheets to enter, update, and maintain cost data.
  • Assist with system upgrades and improvements related to cost accounting processes.
  • Proactively recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in cost reporting.
