To ensure that all departments are supplied with the correct items in the required quantities, and the accurate receipt and safe and secure storage and distribution of all Company’s Finished Goods by proper documentation.
FINISHED GOODS WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
• Oversee general warehouse operations and supervise warehouse staff.
• Ensure inventory is received, stored, and recorded according to policy and procedures.
• Lead, motivate, guide, and staff, improve their skills, and enhance teamwork.
• Ensure department compliance with all safety, quality, efficiency, food safety, sanitation, HR, legislation, and company
policies.
• Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
• Supervise and control order picking, goods in, and goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and
stock damage.
• Organise, facilitate, and manage stock takes at regular intervals
Qualifications
• Associate degree or equivalent training in logistics and supply chain management
• Computer literate with good numeric skills
Experience
• Five (5) years and over experience and working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
Person Specifications
• Must be able to work and rotate on a three-shift-based system.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse work environment
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Physically fit to endure majority of workday on the floor, walking and standing.
