Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the governance processes related to the tracking of the overall execution of the digital transformation programme across people, process, and technology.

The Systems Analyst will be integral in the monitoring of the risks and benefits associated with the Digital Transformation Programme. He/She will be responsible for ensuring the attainment of the business transformation goals on the digital strategy roadmap; will monitor industry trends and regularly interrogate business reports or interact with business unit leaders in areas such as sales, marketing, product development or customer experience to identify DX problems or opportunities.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• CERTIFICATION Any two (2) of the following:

• Business Intelligence (e.g. CAP or related certification)

• Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, Lean Six Sigma or related certification)

• Change Management (e.g. PROSCI or related certification)

• Certification in Project Management

MINUMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Three (3) years working experience in Digital Transformation with strong technical experience in Systems Analysis

• Minimum two (2) years of experience working with cloud technologies

• Minimum two (2) years of experience developing workflows/applications

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Five (5) years working experience in any two (2) of the following: • Information Technology • Business Analysis • Business Intelligence • Change Management • Organization Development

TECHNICAL BUSINESS EXPERTISE

• Proficiency in Modelling and Microsoft Office productivity tools

• Knowledge of Project Management, Business Analyst methodologies inclusive of Agile and Systems Analysis & Design

• Understanding of technological and market trends

• Familiarity with financial models for business cases

• Ability to evaluate business needs, policies and processes as well as risk with a view to defining and prescribing solutions

• Understanding of strategically aligned and measurable metrics that support tracking of product / service / process improvement value

• Ability to identify business benefits relevant to an initiative or project

• Ability to assess risk and identify key stakeholders necessary to remove barriers.

• Ability to research and transform data into insights to guide decision making
