Carenet Health seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst in Trinidad! Analyze revenue, expenses, and trends, create financial models, and support key decisions. Strong accounting, Excel, and Power BI skills required.

Our Finance Team is expandig in Trinidad and we are looking for a detail - oriented and innovative Sr Financial Analyst who will be conducting top-level analyses of our revenue, sales cost, client margin, SG & A expenses and complex system data for trends of present and future operations and projections. Working with senior level management, you will create reports to aid in critical decision making processes regarding revenue / clients and expense management. 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Financial Analysis and Projections
    • Analyze past and present operations, revenues, and expenditure
    • Familiarize and update metrics in the projection model
    • Create financial models, prepare projections, and perform research
    • Update projection models with revised data
  1. Collaboration and Reporting
    • Meet with the VP of Finance to discuss project plans and status
    • Recommend financial actions based on accounting options
    • Assist with budgeting processes, including reporting and analysis
    • Design and maintain user reports in BI for departmental use.
  1. Accounting and Reconciliation
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles to interpret and journalize business transactions.
    • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  1. Systems Development and Maintenance
    • May develop, install, and maintain accounting systems related to GL, reporting, receivables, and expenditures.
  1. Administrative and Supportive Tasks
    • Perform administrative tasks to support the above functions.
    • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects related to internal and external customers, team members, and management.
  1. Training and Expertise Development
    • Become a subject matter expert in Business Intelligence (BI) in Ultimate Software through online and on-the-job training.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management or related field with at least 5 years of experience as Financial Analyst 
  • Strong accounting skills related to the GL/Financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Excellent Excel and Power BI Skills to create complex analyses
  • Strong Communication Skills 
  • Experience in Financial Modelling and FP&A tool implementation
