Our client in the Bank and Finance Sector is seeking to onboard a Senior Operations Officer - CIF Creation & Account Verification for their Port of Spain office for a contract role.

 Salary: $12K-$13K

Job Requirements:

  • Review and approve (in T24) submissions from the businesses for CIF creation and updating, in a timely and accurate manner ensuring completeness in the operation.
  • Review and approval (in T24) of all documents submitted for loan processing/creation to highlight inconsistencies and reduce risk to the businesses.
  • Approval of amendments updating loans, and leases for the banks
  • Performing reviews and approvals for updates of the bio data on the banking software for the business as directed, ensuring all supports are submitted and verified.
  • Accurately Reviewing and Approving amendments to collaterals, insurances, rates, maturity dates etc on Loans and leasing in the banking system T24 for the banks.
  • Timely review of submissions for completeness and documentation to be filed.
  • Approval of loan payoffs on T24
  • Approval of processed AVO’s on T24
  • Coaching and training of direct reports
  • Providing support to other areas in the Operations department when needed.
  • Completion of performance appraisals and approvals of Employee Central requests from direct reports
  • Follow up on system issues applicable to Operations based on tickets raised with IT.
  • Liaise with other Senior officers to ensure daily targets/SLAs are met.
  • Any other duties as direct by the business/Manager

DECISION MAKING- Applies guidelines and procedures that require some interpretation in dealing with exception

 

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant professional qualification or a mixture of both education and experience.

 

TRAINING

 

  • Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, Access
  • Display exceptional customer service and have a pleasant disposition.
  • Respond timely and efficiently to customer requests.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to supervise a team to accomplish departmental goals.
  • Motivated, flexible and ability to use own initiative.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Must have T24 experience in the Lending as well as the Deposit modules.
  • Knowledgeable on usage of FileHold software.
  • Must be able to prioritise and multitask.
  • Capacity to handle stressful situations.
