OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE
- The Senior Manager, Corporate Services leads the provision of corporate services to the company beginning with the corporate strategy and associated sustainability and communications strategy, stakeholder relations strategy, human resources and supply chain management strategy using innovation and technology to drive growth in the clean energy market, build brand awareness, and key stakeholder engagement.
- The incumbent will be responsible for managing all corporate activities and initiatives of the company.
FUNCTIONS
- Overseas the development and execution of comprehensive communications and marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, brand positioning, and target audience to drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Drives brand development and management initiatives, including brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice, ensuring consistency and alignment across all communication channels and touchpoints.
- Overseas the human resource needs of the organization, defines in collaboration with the President, the human resources and talent acquisition strategy and manpower requirements in support of the organizational goals of the NGC Green.
- Works closely with the President and NGC Green Leadership Team, to establish a culture of performance management that ensures current and leading practice standards are achieved.
- Oversees the development of major contract strategies to support and facilitate effective contract management for NGC GREEN’s most significant contractual relationships.
- Oversees the strategic sourcing of high value, sensitive, complex, high-profile requirements with due regard afforded to costs, quality, HSE and schedules variables consistent with NGC GROUP’s contracting policies & procedures.
- Oversees the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services from suppliers. Develops and maintains suppliers' relationships, negotiates contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
- Collaborates with internal teams to forecast demand accurately and align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Drives the Company’s green agenda through the strategic use of technology, environmentally friendly workplace solutions and embedding a culture of agile working, continuous improvement and innovation.
- Builds and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, industry influencers, and media contacts, to cultivate advocacy, support, and collaboration for the company's initiatives and objectives.
- Delivers market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
- Leads initiatives that builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure accurate dissemination of messages.
- Ensures the effective management of the department’s budget in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines and collaborates with direct reports in the development of the department KPI’s to ensure alignment with strategic goals and achievement of critical milestones.
- Executes any other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in any Social Science discipline, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, or related field;
OR
- Post graduate degree in Strategic Communication, Sustainability, Mass Communications, MBA or a related degree
OR
- A combination of suitable qualifications and experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations roles, with a focus on clean energy or related industries of which five (5) years should be at a senior leadership level.
