Sales and Marketing Representative

Kingston Logistics Center Limited is the leading all-inclusive logistics firm in the island serving both local and international companies. We are seeking candidates for the position of Sales and Marketing Representative to become a member of our “Faster, Easier, Smarter” KLC Team.

The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving sales by identifying and signing new clients as well as managing and maintaining existing clients’ accounts. The incumbent will also work closely with the senior management team in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies aimed at realizing the company’s strategic development plan.

The incumbent should have a passion for sales, strong business acumen, keen knowledge of marketing techniques, excellent communication skills and success driven.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.

• Generate new business and manage relationships with new clients.

• Sell services to potential clients through face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, emails, and other communication methods.

• Sell new business, including prospecting, cold calling, cultivating leads, networking, and social media.

• Contributing to the development of marketing strategies and designing/implementing marketing plans for service industry.

• Creating and presenting sales/marketing performance reports.

• Working with the sales team to develop targeted sales/marketing strategies.

• Providing insight into service offerings, development and competitive positioning.

• Interacting with clients and dealing with clients' enquiries and developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and clients.

• Provide professional after-sales support to generate returns and referrals.

• Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

• Manage social media accounts, create and promote effective content including text posts, video and images in a way that is consistent with the organization’s brand and social media strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Associate degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.

• At least three (3) years’ experience in Sales & Marketing (Sales of logistics service will be advantageous)

• High School Diploma will be considered with at least five (5) years’ experience in Sales & Marketing.

• Experience in shipping and logistics industry is preferred

• Competent in Microsoft Office suite

• The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of modern marketing techniques, commercial trends and strategies

• Excellent and effective interpersonal skills

• High-level oral and verbal communication skills

• Marketing content creation skills

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.

• Strong business acumen and detail-oriented

• Good project management skills.

• Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
