JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team to offer water treatment solutions to commercial and residential customers. The ideal candidate will be expected to generate new sales by assessing customers’ needs, offer the most suitable solution, prepare quotations, visit potential and existing customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A diploma or B.Sc. in Business, Engineering, or similar field or has acquired relevant experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience would be advantageous
  • Technically inclined experience would be an asset
  • The ability to identify and follow up on leads
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Pays keen attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Being technologically savvy would be advantageous
  • A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel around the island regularly

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as part of the sales team to identify customers’ needs and to present solutions to resolve issues
  • Meeting and surpassing sales targets
  • Providing timely updates on larger projects
  • Communicating with customers on a regular basis via email, phone, etc.
  • Liaising with the service department and technical team members as necessary
  • Planning and scheduling visits to customers and potential customers
  • Learn technical information and obtain a thorough understanding of how the company’s products work
  • Learn how to do basic equipment programming and troubleshooting over time
  • Maintain customer relationships
