RESORT MANAGER

One of the most beautiful and elegant boutique resorts in the Caribbean, where understated glamour, discreet impeccable service, attention to detail, and warm Jamaican hospitality define the experience. 

 

Applications are being invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following management position:

 

RESORT MANAGER

The candidate will oversee all aspects of the resort demonstrating operational excellence across all operating functions, with responsibility for the overall financial performance, guest and employee satisfaction, staff development, sales and revenue generation and delivering returns on investment. Must build and maintain a strong relationship between shareholders and property management, conduct market surveys and analyses within the region and competitive set, and maintain and grows luxury travel trade contacts. The ideal candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ international resort experience, with at least 10 years in management roles; including remote locations. The experience mentioned above must primarily be at properties whereby rooms average from $750 plus rates per night and villas ranging from $2,000 - $30,000 rates per night
  • Creates succession plans for future job openings; actively supports the staffing process; verifies effective work processes, systems and teamwork are in place to maximize individual and overall property performance.
  • Creates development plans for operating staff, trains, manages, mentors.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is a must, a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Must have experience in at least 3 luxury or ultra-luxury brands or independent properties.
  • Must have experience creating and analyzing budgets, P&L’s, and financial reports.
  • Must be proficient in Micros, Opera HotSOS or other leading property management system applicable to hotel management.
