Fitness Instructor

Job Summary: As a Fitness Instructor in the Resort, you will design and lead a variety of fitness classes and personal training sessions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team at Catalonia Montego Bay.

 The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and wellness, with the ability to motivate and inspire guests to achieve their fitness goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct fitness classes, including yoga, aerobics, strength training, zumba and other group exercises.
• Provide personalized fitness training and create customized workout plans for guests.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure the safety of all participants.
• Monitor and assess guests' progress, providing encouragement and feedback.
• Maintain a clean and organized fitness area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and incorporate new techniques into classes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle and provide guests with tips on nutrition and wellness.
• Collaborate with other resort staff to organize special fitness events and activities.
• Address any guest concerns or questions related to fitness and wellness.
• Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor.
• Proven experience in leading fitness classes and personal training sessions.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and wellness principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire guests of all fitness levels.
• Positive attitude and a passion for health and fitness.
