We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Montego Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in food safety and quality management to play a key role in maintaining high standards within our operations.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and maintain a Food Safety Management System that conforms to international and, local standards.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the quality management system and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and revise quality system documentation, ensuring document control.
  • Verify adherence to policies and procedures in quality-related manuals and take corrective action as necessary.

  • Investigate customer complaints and prepare reports for relevant personnel.

  • Conduct regular audits across company locations to ensure food safety principles are adhered to.

  • Act as coordinator for all quality auditing activities, including internal and external audits.

  • Administer and coordinate food safety training for staff, ensuring both initial and recurrent training is conducted regularly to maintain compliance with food safety standards.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of HACCP and Food Safety Management principles.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in Quality Assurance/Food Safety Management.
  • Strong reasoning abilities and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluency in English is required, Spanish is an asset.
