The general oversight and management of the supply chain process at Global Brands Group of Companies

The Candidate will be responsible for the general oversight and management of the supply chain process at Global Brands Group of Companies herein understood to be: Burger Boys Limited, Global Brands Limited, Sparrow Foods Limited and Falcon Holdings Limited and all of the brands operating under those companies. “Brands” that fall under the Global Brands Group shall mean Pizza Boys, Church's Chicken, Church’s Texas Chicken, Rituals Coffee House, Rituals Cafe, Rituals Sushi, Ahlen, Wok N Roll, Heroes Sports Bar, VIP Flyers Club and Donut Boys, and any other new Company.

 

The candidates’ responsibilities include, though not exhaustive, sourcing and evaluation of new suppliers, management of existing suppliers, maintaining all supply chain relationships, creation and submission of approved supplier listings, creation and maintenance of inventory listings and ensuring the cost-effective procurement, management and supply of materials, parts of goods.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Create and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective suppliers/ vendors for both local and foreign goods and supplies
  2. Assist with the oversight of all local and foreign orders required with 100% accuracy and within designated timelines
  3. Create and maintain procurement/ logistics records, updating the necessary information on a weekly basis or as needed with 100% accuracy
  4. Validate all supplies/ samples or material sent from suppliers/ vendors by ensuring that all products meet quality standards and expiration dates are within the required timelines and with 100% accuracy.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to develop databases and plans for storage, transportation and discarding of stock, supplies, materials inventory or parts within designated timelines, with 100% accuracy.
  6. Coordinate shipping schedules and routes with the relevant parties to ensure that goods are shipped or received within the required timelines.
  7. Assist with the creation of pricing information and inventory databases for all brands as required with 100% accuracy.
  8. Coordinate with shipping/ customs officers if necessary to ensure that incoming or outgoing shipments meet all legal requirements to entry into or exit out of the Country within designated timelines with 100% accuracy.
  9. Development, implementation and management of effective tracking systems/ databases to monitor all purchasing, procurement and logistics in real time within designated timelines with 100% accuracy.
  10. Plan and coordinate the movement of materials and products within the organization using the existing software, or other software as needed.
  11. Creation of Purchase orders, bills, receipts, logging of all invoices, purchase orders, receipts, or any other document that is required to ensure that the movement of goods are documented and in keeping with Company policies and procedures.
  12. Assist with major projects within the Company to create databases, statistics and reports as required.
  13. Liaise with operational staff as needed to provide updates on all goods and supplies that are required.
  14. Liaise with Management and Executive Management, preparing updated and accurate reports to ensure that procurement, logistics or any other matter relating to goods management and storage are reflected.
  15. Any other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS 

 -Certification in Supply Chain Management and Logistics

- Extensive experince can be considered in absence of qualifications


EDUCATION

- Minimum of CXC and Tertiary level education

- Proficient in Mircosoft Excel

 

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 5-10 Years Experince in Purchasing & Logistics Coordination in Food & Beverage

-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-  Excellent MS Office Skills

-  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
