To support the production department in maintaining optimal performance within the manufacturing end-to-end process, through adherence to manufacturing instructions, quality standards and budgeted costs, making use of best practices within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze daily, the relevant KPI reports within the production environment, with a key emphasis on material
usage and labor variances.
Identify productivity, process improvement and cost savings opportunities, following various root cause analysis
methodologies.
Lead cross functional and cross departmental projects targeted towards KPI improvement.
Hold set meetings on project updates with cross functional team.
Perform routine verification of costing standards versus actual production runs.
Participate in material reconciliation stock checks as required.
Lead end of month stock reconciliation in production.
Drive other continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Perform other duties related to the job function as required.
Education/Qualification
• Diploma or Bachelor level in Business, Engineering or a related field
• Six Sigma certification is a plus

• Ability to read & analyze information
• Excellent time management
• Knowledge of inventory control
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Licensed to drive Forklift
