Bryden pi Ltd, one of the leading channel-focused distributors of Consumer, Health and Personal Care products in Trinidad and Tobago is on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join our unique family in the position of PRODUCT SPECIALIST - CRITICL CARE & ICU within our Hospital Equipment and Supplies Division.

The incumbent would be responsible for all aspects of Surgical Sales in the assigned territories.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
  • Promote and Drive sales of medical equipment and hospital supplies within assigned territory and achieve targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and attending industry events.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and provide relevant technical support.
  • Coordinate with hospital procurement teams and assist in preparing responses for tenders, RFQs and quotations.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and customer needs to provide strategic insights.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, and regular performance reports.
  • Answer customers' questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and specifications.
  • Contact new and existing clients to understand needs and explain how products/services meet those needs.
  • Inform customers of delivery schedules, service agreements, warranties, and related documentation.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and quote prices or specifications for customer bids and tenders.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with clients.
  • Complete sales reports, expense reports, and required administrative paperwork.
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.

Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in medical sales.
  • Experience with ICU and OT (Operating Theatre) hospital settings is a strong asset.
  • Proven success in managing healthcare accounts and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of hospital procurement, tendering, and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations, compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the assigned territories.
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
