Overview: KPMG Jamaica's delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Strategic Sourcing Procurement (SSP) team. This role is crucial to the effectiveness of our procurement operations, supporting the onshore Third-Party Compliance team and guiding internal stakeholders.


Job Summary: As a Senior Associate at KJESS, you will work closely with client service delivery teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and protect firm confidential information. You will provide exceptional customer service to our client engagement teams, guide them through the third-party contracting process, and facilitate the execution of NDAs within predefined SLAs. Over time, you will progress to directly support contracting with third parties. You will be a key point of contact and liaison between our customers, suppliers, and the Office of General Counsel for every assigned agreement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Master the nuances of executing NDAs with third parties.
• ​Act quickly on business requests and engage in supplier negotiations to drive the usage of standard KPMG business templates.
• ​Conduct weekly reviews with Managers and Team Leaders to review progress and address outstanding agreements.
• ​Conduct timely root cause discussions and report findings and remedial actions.
• ​Track, document, and report on the transition of all pending requests.
• ​Escalate problems or bottlenecks immediately to the JESS Manager, Stakeholders, or business partners and follow up until resolved.
• ​Collaborate with multiple teams across the Firm to accelerate the completion of processes outside of SSP control.
• ​Identify continuous improvement opportunities that reduce cycle times without significantly increasing risk exposure for the firm.
• ​Provide comprehensive notification to stakeholders when the compliance review is completed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ​Minimum of three years of experience in a Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Compliance, or Contracting role.
  

Special Conditions:

• Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Primarily working in a paperless environment using information systems.
• May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
