The Organisational Development (OD) Officer is required to perform organisational reviews, conducts research, develops and recommends effective solution for the adoption and implementation, restructurings and preparation of policy and procedural manuals.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE:
ü NVQ-J Level 5 Certification or Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in disciplines such as Human Resource Management/Development/Management Studies/Public Administration or its equivalent;
ü Formal training in Human Resource Management/Organisational Development;
ü Two (2) years’ related experience in Human Resource Development
ü Any other equivalent combination of qualification and experience

KEY DUTIES:
ü Reviews and evaluates the existing job descriptions
ü Develops new job descriptions for proposed positions
ü Conducts background research to inform job content
ü Examines relevant statutes, regulations, directives and reports related to the Organisation to determine legislative framework for functional responsibility
ü Collects job related data through interviews, questionnaires, and observations to obtain specific information to inform studies, research, etc.
ü Conducts interview with staff for systems and procedural studies
ü Reviews records that will assist in validating findings
ü Prepares proposed findings and recommendations
ü Provides feedback on progress of study/research
