Editing of footage according to script for a variety of programmes for the News, Sports and Current Affairs Department.

• Edits footage according to scripts ensuring audio and video quality are at optimum levels; edit and balance music and effects
• Ensures visual cohesiveness by assessing narrative and visual content; trim film and copy video segments to specific lengths, arrange and join them in sequence to enable the content to be presented with maximum effect
• Archives edited news stories to tape
• Records reporters voices for news packages
• Secures/returns tapes used for editing to TV6 archive library
• Performs any other duties which are incidental or consequential to the above, as may be assigned by the Head of Department or representative.
