MANAGER SECURITY AND LOSS CONTROL

 

JOB SUMMARY

To provide a secure environment for all stakeholders at the Company’s facilities and protect the Company’s assets, including staff, buildings, outside plants, cash collected, and equipment. It involves developing and managing a fully outsourced alliance model for all security services, including but not limited to static armed, unarmed and canine services, rapid response patrol and response, high-risk escorts and cash in transit

 

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Review security operations in each district daily to identify potential threats and implement steps to reduce security risks.

 

  • Monitor the overall security operations for threats and weakness in all services, including but not limited to
    • Static Armed, Unarmed and Canine Services

 

  • Rapid Response Patrol and Response

 

  • High-Risk Escorts

 

  • Cash In Transit

 

  • Jointly responsible for the provision of Security Incident Command and Control.

 

  • Liaise with Internal customers, outside plant, internal staff, and coordinate daily escort of technicians and installation staff to address their ever-changing security needs and provide a safe working environment (both in and on the field) to deliver services to our customers.

 

  • Complete administrative tasks by checking and approving staff overtime claims, verifying contractors’ bills, vetting reports, approving purchase orders, checking and approving petty cash claims, Inputting data on designated software programs for the smooth functioning of the department.

 

  • Liaise with Security Service Providers to correct issues with contracted Security Staff and improve the overall security offered to TSTT.

 

  • Design, improve and develop security systems.

 

  • Lead the response to security breaches and loss events to minimize the impact of the breach or loss and prevent future occurrences.

 

  • Coordinate resource deployment as required in areas across the company.

 

  • Workplace safety: Validate that all work is completed in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Security Management AND

• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent

• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in security management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

NOTE: Any relevant combination of qualifications and experience at an appropriate level to competently perform required duties will be considered.
