Management Support Officer – Executive Office (Level 5)
Vacant – (Three-Year Contract)
Salary Range: $2,190,302 - $2,945,713 per annum
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the CEO, the Management Support Officer provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The incumbent undertakes special projects in any department of the Authority as assigned by the CEO. The officer also, assist in short-staffed areas to ensure that the Authority's targets are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Interacts with all staff to gain resource material, information and updates as necessary to provide support to the CEO
- Attends meetings to record minutes.
- Carries out assignments to investigate or co-ordinate projects.
- Conducts research, collates information and prepares reports for the Management Team.
- Assists with and vetting Procurement matters that require the Chief Executive Officer’s approval.
- Provides support in planning events such as the organisation of seminars, workshops and high-level visits.
- Provides assistance with the logistical and administrative preparations for meetings.
- Maintains records management database systems in keeping with the REAJ's established policies and procedures.
- Confers with clients by telephone or in person to provide information.
- Assists, when assigned, in areas within the organization where the staffing capacity is inadequate to perform core functions.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

- Administrative and logistical support provided in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Research is thorough and information presented in a form that is easily understood.
- Accurate and complete Minutes prepared and submitted in accordance to established standards and procedures.
- Reports are accurate and produced within agreed timeframe.
- Special projects completed in accordance with established standards.
- Confidentiality, integrity and professionalism demonstrated in the execution of duties.
Required Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good research and report writing skills
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of electronic data processing systems
- Knowledge of the REAJ’s policies, procedures and legal framework
- Keen eye for detail

Minimum Education & Experience:
- First Degree in Management, Public Administration or related discipline.
- Two (2) years’ related work experience.
- Or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
