We are hiring a Location Admin Support for our client in Hanover.

LOCATION ADMIN SUPPORT

CORE FUNCTION:

As an admin support, you are responsible for providing assistant to the regional HR Admin, location and regional manager and other supervisor.

Education and Experience: (Minimum Requirements)

  • C.P.R. and First Aid desirable (An asset)
  • Passes in at least Five (5) High School subjects including English and Mathematics.
  • A foreign language is a definite asset
  • One year experience in a related position

SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good human relations skills
  • Ability to calm disgruntled and/or challenging guests
  • Pleasing personality
  • Ability to handle complaints
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High professional & ethical standard

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Conduct oneself consistent with the policies and procedures of the company.
  • Ensure that you are properly groomed and neatly attired at all times.
  • Maintain a harmonious team spirit among team members by maintaining friendliness, professionalism and adherence to company vision and values.
  • Assist with the writing of memos and letters.
  • Data entry and filing.
  • Incident and Accident reporting (assist with processing of reports)
  • Ensure that all department supervisors are completing inspection sheets daily.
  • Assist with Monitoring of staff ensure that they are complying with the safety practices. 
  • Report all safety breaches, incidents and accidents
  • Assist with ensuring that the area and facilities are clean and free of litter to enhance the attractiveness of the site.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Effectively carry out all other assigned duties from time to time by your supervisor or manager.
  • Cash Breakdown
  • Prepare Cash Remittance - (Transfer cash breakdown information to Remittance form daily)
  • Prepare lodgments for drop off at bank daily
  • Log cash breakdown, staff counts and guest counts in the Daily log book
  • Track payment for suppliers
