- Maintain an updated inventory of the ICT software and licenses in the office
- Keep abreast of current hardware and software developments in the industry
- Provide advice and recommendations in planning and implementing ICT related changes
- Perform any related duties required
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years’ experience in the above-mentioned or a similar role
Minimum of 5 CXC O’ Level passes, including Mathematics, English and Principles of Accounts
Diploma in Information Technology or similar
A+ Certified
Networking Certified
Excellent written and oral communication skills
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL ICT SUPPORT SYSTEM
- Install new hardware and software
- Provide technical support to in-house technicians and on set-up locations
- Train all staff on any IT based equipment when necessary
- Secure the security code to ensure a safe environment
- Maintain and secure all company passwords and access control for company hardware and
software
- Direct and oversee all Digital Signage projects and systems internally and externally
- Deliver hardware resources to work areas as required
CONFIGURATION & INSTALLATION
- Create a structured approach for introducing new hardware and software: procurement, testing,
assessing organizational needs
SERVER & NETWORK SUPPORT
- Manage the company network, social media platforms and websites
- Perform basic diagnostic routines
- Perform checks to ensure that broadband connectivity is maintained
MAINTENANCE
- Ensure all computers and IT equipment is fully functional at all times
- Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for hardware, software and networks
- Support the implementation if Management Information Systems (MIS) solutions when
required
- Detect, diagnose and resolve faults in all devices
- Maintain electronic mail accounts
- Promote and observe a safe working environment including risk assessments, review of safety
procedures and distribution of safety information for all personnel
