The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR Generalist services to customers inclusive of but not limited to Recruitment and Selection, Employee and Industrial Relations, Talent Development and Employee Engagement.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively engages in Recruitment to ensure that the required resources are available to Customers as needed.
  • Ensures the Orientation and Induction of new employees entering the organization.
  • Provides guidance, coaching and support for the Performance Management process for Customer teams.
  • Works with customer teams to develop in-year training plans arising out of the Performance Management process; provides support for and monitors the implementation of these plans.
  • Acts as the key point of contact for individual team members on employee relations matters.
  • Provides coaching and support to customers on Industrial Relations matters ensuring that due process is followed and that the risk of litigation is managed; advises customers on employment regulations and standards.
  • Works with customers to implement and embed change effectively and to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Supports customers in developing action plans to continuously improve employee engagement, motivation and retention.
  • Facilitates employee status changes ensuring that due process is followed.
  • Contributes to the preparation of the Monthly HR Report and other HR reports that may be required. 

Qualifications/Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
  • A minimum of three (3) years HR generalist experience or any relevant combination of education and experience.  
  • Industrial Relations experience and knowledge of Labour Laws.
