Job Title: Head of Prepaid
Primary objective of the job:
The Head of Prepaid oversees and leads the development, implementation, and management of Prepaid consumer mobile services within the organization. This role involves creating and executing strategies to increase prepaid subscriber acquisition and retention, drive revenue growth, optimize pricing plans, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Head of Prepaid is responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for product and service improvements, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of consumer mobile services in line with company objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the overall prepaid strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market share. Provide leadership to the Mobile team and align their efforts with the company’s broader objectives.
Oversee the development of prepaid products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and market trends. This includes pricing, bundling, and promotional strategies.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and product offerings.
Define the promotions and relevant campaigns to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Manage distribution channels for prepaid products in co-operation with the Sales team, ensuring they are accessible and appealing to target customers. Collaborate with sales teams to drive performance.
Manage the mobile business unit’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Enhance customer experience for mobile users through effective service delivery, support, and communication strategies. Implement initiatives to improve customer retention and satisfaction to become number one in the market for service.
Work closely with other departments such as Sales, finance, and operations to ensure cohesive execution of mobile strategies and initiatives.
Ensure that all prepaid offerings comply with relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by telecommunications authorities.
Lead efforts to innovate prepaid offerings, integrating digital solutions and technologies to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Regularly assess the performance of mobile products and strategies, providing insightful reports to senior management and stakeholders.
