Graphic Designer

Market Me is looking for a Graphic Designer who will work in a creative, fast-paced environment that requires exceptional creativity and ability to work with cross-functional departments to translate client objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually exciting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working alongside a team of graphic and multimedia designers to bring concepts, presentations, and other creative collateral to life.
• Conceptualize visuals based on client requirements, prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using appropriate software or by hand.
• Work with project managers and other team members to ensure that deliverables are executed according to brand guides within the required timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s).
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organisations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field.
• Two or more years of hands-on experience with logo design, typography, colour, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design; proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Must understand design in multiple mediums — print, digital, mobile.
