Job Title:

 

Go To Market (GTM) Sales Lead

 

 

Primary objective of the job: 

 

This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of the GTM sales channels. Reporting to the GTM Channel Manager, support the achievement of sales targets and KPIs across both Mobile and Digicel+ services within the market. Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the sales team, ensuring a culture of customer centricity, excellent service and continuous improvement.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage GTM sales teams across Mobile and Digicel+
  • Ensure that sales teams meet sales targets and other KPIs
  • Assist in the recruitment process, training, coaching and discipline of the sales team
  • Conducts team meetings with the sales team
  • Evaluate performance of sales staff
  • Identify market trends that appeal to customers and make recommendations to the GTM Channel Manager
  • Help, drive, motivate, and encourage retail sales staff to achieve sales targets
  • Handle customer complaints, issues and questions.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock
  • Liaise with Telecoms Solutions and resellers to ensure the availability of top ups and ensure that the sales channel meets Digicel requirements
  • Maintain health and safety measures for the sales teams
  • Organize and distribute staff schedules
  • Ensure end of day sales reconciliations are being properly completed
  • Ensure that daily stock counts are being completed and reported
  • Ensure that cash handling procedures are being adhered to
  • Ability to work closely with other departments to achieve customer satisfaction on issues.

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing sales teams preferably in a Telecoms environment
  • At least two (2) years supervisory experience
  • At least three (3) years Sales experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
