Forklift Operator

Responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, moving goods within the facility, maintaining inventory, and adhering to safety protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pack and unpack items/materials/Chemicals.
• Relocate items within the factory in an orderly manner.
• Operate a forklift or other machinery used for transporting items/materials.
• Package items/chemicals for distribution purpose.
• Stock materials in correct location following inventory control instruction and safety rules.
• Abide by all safety hazard laws and maintain a safe driving environment.
• Ensure forklift is kept in good condition.
• Inspect machinery to determine need for repairs.
• Identify damages and report spillage or shortage
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to. 
• Any other duties that may be assigned periodically.

Driver Qualifications/Skills:

• Possession of a valid forklift operator certification
• Verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and items management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent Problem solving Skill
• Interpersonal ability
• Team oriented
• Proactive critical thinking
