CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Warehouse Attendant- St James- Preferably Male 

The selected candidates will be responsible for the safe receiving, storing, and accurate delivery of products in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, daily obtaining delivery invoices from the dispatcher, accurately selecting, pulling, and delivering goods according to the invoice, and maintaining storage areas and warehouse equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks for the purpose of selecting, delivering and stringing goods
• Set up and shift storage within the warehouse to take into consideration factors such as available space, turnover of supplies and convenience of handling
• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse
• Arrange damaged goods for the accurate and timely recording of inventory loss to be written off
• Coordinates work flow with fellow workers and other team members
• Conducts stock counts as directed, both periodic and annual
• Assists with the receiving of incoming goods by offloading containers/truck and stocking goods in correct locations/shelves for smooth and timely retrieval when required

Qualification & Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment would be an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and cooperative
• Able to work well under pressure, be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and more, and manually load/offload goods
