This role requires the incumbent to be responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection for the Company. They will forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects.

JOB DUTIES

  • Prepare and analyse financial information to determine root cause(s) for deviation to plan, changes in trend etc. using analytical and BI tools in place and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and analyse variances in actual business performance versus annual plan.
  • Proactively provide insights into financial KPI’s and Balanced Scorecard via reports and data visualisation techniques within stipulated deadlines on a routine, real-time and ad hoc basis.
  • Streamline and improve internal and external reporting; working closely with key stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
  • Demonstration of sound business acumen in presentation and articulation of analyses performed as well as discussing user’s requirements.
  • Creation of financial analysis models to support reporting requirements and the data driven decision making process and cost-benefit analyses across all functions of the business.
  • Assist in financial forecasting process with scenario modelling, data extraction etc. to support delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the budgeting process for compilation and preparation of Annual Operating Plan requirements, working closely with budget owners to gather budget input.
  • Work closely with and as a member of cross-functional teams to derive recovery efforts to company’s annual plan.
  • Documentation of business processes, current and proposed communication of same to business users.
  • Assist to evaluate internal control processes where specified and recommend improvements to close gaps identified.
  • Assist in preparation of key management reports and analyses: Board papers, Senior Management reporting.
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various functions.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing ACCA Level 3
  • 2 + years professional accounting experience.
  • Proactive and possess an analytical mind-set.
  • Excellent communication skills .
  • Strong business partnering with excellent technology, presentation and written communication skillset.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Adept in the use of MS Office Suite, Access, SharePoint administration and Visio, BI solutions.
