The Facilities Technician will assist the Facilities Manager with all aspects of maintenance of the Property.

1.      Act as the primary contact for all maintenance issues and emergency call-outs as necessary.

2.      Monitor contractor/service providers on site location during projects.

3.      Ensure contractor/service provider’s work is completed according to project agreed specifications.   

4.      Require to act as the liaison during contractor/service provider’s site visit and meetings.

5.      Monitor all maintenance systems, components and equipment in accordance with stipulated maintenance management programs and service schedules.

6.      Coordinate and liaise with client/tenant to arrange contractor site visits and project execution.  

7.      Perform basic electrical checks on low voltage systems and equipment such as (L.V. panels, motors, blowers, panel boxes, instrumentation panels).

8.      Perform basic mechanical checks on static and rotating equipment such as (gear boxes, fans, HVAC systems, pumps)  

9.      Prepare weekly maintenance reports on service reports/maintenance schedules.

10.  Conduct routine and non-routine PM checks on all equipment and facilities.

11.  Support other team members with civil type projects, fit out builder’s works and construction projects.

12.  Ensure compliance to all health, safety, quality and company policies and procedures.

13.  Perform any other job duties as required by the job function.

 

Requirements:

  • Must reside in Tobago.
  • MEEET/EEET Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in Project Management will be an asset
  • Certificate in OSHA management will be an asset
  • Certificate in Auto CAD Level (II) will be an asset
  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience within a property/facilities technician position.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working experience on low voltage, mechanical driven systems, generators, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps. 
  • Experience in scheduling, project management, costing and budgeting projects.
