To support production by maintaining all plant equipment by means of effective troubleshooting, and routine predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
1. Perform corrective, predictive, preventative, and routine maintenance on:
• Rotating equipment such as Motors, Pumps, Compressors, etc
• Pneumatics & Hydraulic systems
• Conveyor systems
• All plant Equipment
• Electrical systems 
2. Monitor equipment operation and report potential issues that may lead to unscheduled downtime.
3. Perform setup, changeovers and fine-tuning adjustments of all plant equipment.
4. Identifies and corrects potential equipment failure and/or unsafe conditions.
5. Assist with installation and/or modification of equipment to improve efficiency.
6. Perform basic welding, machine shop and pipe fitting work using related equipment, hand and/or power tools
7. Complete and submit work orders, check sheets and log of work done by means of authorized documents according to
    stipulated frequency.
8. Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials, and work area. 
9. To comply with the Company’s Human Resource, Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Good Manufacturing
    Practices (GMP) procedures and policies.
10. Perform any other related duties, incidental or consequential to the above-mentioned functions as determined by
      management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
• NETD / MET / MEEET / MIC Journeyman Diploma or equivalent Technical/vocational qualification.
• At least five (5) CSEC / CXC ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics 
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the food manufacturing
   industry).
• Excellent critical thinking, operations analysis and complex problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Sound interpersonal skills 
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Capable of working on a rostered shift system 
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be a team player.
• Must adhere to and enforce all safety rules and good manufacturing practices of the Company during the performance
   of his/her duties.
